It takes a village…
At The Oaks, parents and teachers partner weekly to provide high-quality, individualized education to students. Our educational model carves out time for the primary role of parents, while leveraging the unique gifts of teachers.
In our pilot year, The Oaks has hosted 50 families and 81 students. We have employed 14 professionals and partnered with three of Amarillo’s effective and compassionate non-profit organizations. We have enrolled students in grades PreK – 5, and launched an enrichment program that includes art, music and LEGO STEM Lab.
We will not stop saying this: God has provided, and He will continue to provide. Most often, He has provided through committed families, gifted professionals, and generous donors.
The gifts of our donors help us to maintain reasonable tuition costs, while making improvements to each facet of our program. Our aim is increasing excellence to the glory of God and for the good of our students. This year, gifts to our annual fund will equip us to:
continue to provide supplies for rich and engaging class day activities
expand our staff to include diverse gifts and specializations
hire a full-time administrator
add more classrooms in future years
