Family Application Process

  • Phase One: Learn

Read and review information about the Classical, Christian model of education and then submit an inquiry to receive information about scheduling a phone call with The Oaks Christian Academy Enrollment Coordinator. Because this is a collaborative educational model, parent commitment is critical to enrollment and student success.

  • Phase Two: Phone Call

Schedule a 30-minute phone call with The Oaks Christian Academy Enrollment Coordinator. This time will be used to discuss The Oaks’ Classical, Christian, Collaborative model of education.

  • Phase Three: Apply | Required Reading

A New Student Application needs to be submitted for each child applying to The Oaks Christian Academy. Applications are processed in the order they are received. Prior to the family meeting, parents and students in grades 8-12 will be provided with additional information that will need to be reviewed.

  • Phase 4: Attend Family Meeting | Student Placement Assessments

Individual family meetings will be scheduled to help determine if The Oaks Christian Academy meets the educational and spiritual goals you have for your family. It allows us to get to know your family and answer questions. During this phase all potential incoming students will be assessed to ensure proper grade-level placement.

  • Phase 5: Receive Admissions Decision | Complete Enrollment

Admissions decisions will be communicated after all prior steps of the admissions process have been completed and on a rolling basis for the grade levels in which we have open seats. This phase includes receipt of a contract which is an agreement to partner as educators for the upcoming school year. The contract and contract fee will reserve each child’s placement.

  • Phase 6: Attend Required Para-Teacher Trainings

The parent educator will need to participate in our annual summer and spring trainings designed to equip all para-teachers in their role at The Oaks Christian Academy.
